Red flags or Red banners
Do you think these are red flags if a guy says:
• We hooked up (without sleeping together) for a month before I became her boyfriend.
• I didn’t see her six times a week; closer to 3 times.
• I was never “whipped” and never had the “you just know” feeling.
• I didn’t tell her I loved her for six months.
• I had never had a girlfriend for longer than 8 months before.
• She wasn’t my “type” – liberal, Ivy League, ambitious, East Coast.
• I was open about my confusion and ambivalence. After 16 months, I was either going to propose or break up and I didn’t know which.

I think some women are in love or wanting to continue feeling that "in love" feeling that they ignore the important issues.

Yeah those are signs that one can overlook. I think if a woman wants she will avoid paying attention to the red flags. Some women will want to hang on so they make excuses for the guy!

The "you just know" feeling, short term girlfriend, and the confusion/ambivalence all seem like red flags to me.
The other stuff doesn't matter too much because they're issues of lesser importance. I wouldn't be too alarmed, but it always depends on the whole situation. I remember this book called "He's just not that into you" being out. It was kind of along the same lines as your post.
